The Story Behind 'A Better Way'

It started with the private shopping events MIAU Fashion was hosting South of Fifth in Miami Beach. Sandra Ortiz's (owner of MIAU) clients, friends and guests love her and the clothing so much because of the styles, price points and personal service she provides.

At her December Event in the Continuum, Sandra and I talked about making a bigger splash for MIAU Fashion to share the clothing and fun that was going on that night. As she and I started working on it, it made sense to include other items that compliment the clothing and service to create a better event.

One aspect I loved and found amazing about her events is that we all wound up buying because of each other, not because of a sales clerk or a dire need for clothing. Add-in a little wine and music to the mix and wah-la, instant idea swapping on how these clothes could be worn and the swiping of credit cards.

The partner companies were chosen because I love their products and services and have worked with in the past. Plus we all tend to ask each other or would like a friendly opinion on - fitness, spa services, food and alcohol!

This is how 'A Better Way' came to be a Pop-Up Boutique Event.

Pop-Up Boutiques ROCK! You can shop like the celebrities do at Sundance Film Festival, Super Bowl and New York’s Fashion Week. We know there is a better way to shop and that's when:
  • we're with someone we trust,
  • the items are heavily discounted or complimentary
  • we receive special treatment and add-on items and services,
  • we can speak directly to the owners of the companies, and
  • everything is conveniently located in the same place!
Join us for to 'A Better Way' Miami's First Pop-Up Boutique Event - an interactive and social evening of complimentary and discounted items from the participating partners you’ll only receive at this event.

Limited Specialty Cocktails provided by VeeV Acai and La Piaggia. Hors 'Doevours will be served and a portion of all sales will be donated to Project Medishare, 501c3.
